CAST BIOS

ANDRE´ JOSEPH

Stokes

Andre´ has had a love for movies from a very early age. Mr. Joseph atteneded the New York Film Academy in 2001 where he first gained experience working with film and later graduated Magna Cum Laude from Emerson College in 2006 where he received a degree in Visual and Media arts. In 2008, Mr. Joseph formed his own New York based independent film production company, AJ Epyx Productions, LLC. The company’s first feature film, Priceless, which Mr. Joseph wrote, starred, and directed, opened at Tribeca Cinemas in October 2008 and was selected for exhibition at the NY International Independent Film & Video Festival in March 2009. The film is now available on DVD at Amazon.com and eStore. Their second feature film, Dishonorable Vendetta, won the award for “Best Firefight” at the 2015 Urban Action Showcase sponsored by Cinemax. Most recent projects include the dramatic short film Night Stream which was nominated for 4 World Music & Independent Film Festival awards including winner for Best Supporting Actor and the short comedy Tempted which premiered at the Garden State Film Festival in March 2015. Next he’ll be seen as Det. Rosso in the action-thriller feature film, Smoke Screen.

CHRIS CORULLA, JR.

Miller

Chris was interested in acting at a young age and studied various actors including Leonardo DiCaprio and Matt Damon by watching their movies frequently. He would also develop an impressive ability to use different voice accents including British, French, Spanish, Irish, Russian, and German. In 2010, Mr. Corulla made his feature film debut as the conflicted son of a Mafia boss in Old Secrets No Lies which played at Tribeca Cinemas and the New York International Independent Film & Video Festival. The film was written and directed by his father, Christopher Corulla, Sr. Then he teamed up with Andre´ Joseph as DEA Agent Keith Miller in Dishonorable Vendetta which won the award for “Best Firefight” at the 2015 Urban Action Showcase sponsored by Cinemax. His future projects include the crime thriller City on the Edge directed by Christopher Corulla, Sr., the independent vampire film The Healer and the crime thriller Frackwards which also marks his debut as a screenwriter.

J.R. CARTER

Marks

Originally from Los Angeles, Mr. Carter has numerous film credits including minor roles in films such as The Winning Season, Notorious, and Cop Out. On television, Mr. Carter appeared in multiple episodes of HBOʼs Bored to Death and FXʼs Damages. In 2015, Mr. Carter made his screenwriting and directorial debut with the dramatic short film The Question which premiered at the Philadelphia International Film Festival. He currently studies acting at Playhouse West Brooklyn Lab under actor and teacher Jim Parrack who is also one of the stars of the Warner Bros. film adaptation of D.C. Comics’ Suicide Squad.​

DREW HENRIKSEN

Talbot

Drew holds a Master of Science degree in Immunology from the C. W. Post campus of Long Island University, and a Post Masters Certification in Science Education from Dowling College. He has played the kindly step father Tim in Man From Shaolin, Mayor/Street Fighter Mike Haggar for the trailer of the Final Fight fan film and was a recurring character, Gath General, in the NBC show Kings staring Ian McShane and Christopher Eagan. Mr. Henriksen was also the stunt coordinator and was the assistant stunt coordinator for The River of Cospa Mica. In 2017, Mr. Henriksen wrote and starred in the western short film The Power of Prayer which premiered at the Garden State Film Festival.  He is the author of the Dragon Tales & Stories trilogy and you can see more of his writings at www.DrewHenriksen.com.

BRYAN WILLIAMS

Annex

Bryan performed acting as well as dancing early on at Holy Trinity High School in Hicksville, NY. He later studied dramatic acting under Richard Thomas at St. John’s University.  Bryan has performed on several film and TV shows such as Boardwalk Empire, Friends with Benefits, and Celebrity Ghost Stories. He played lead roles in the independent films Serve and Protect and Night Club, the latter of which earned him a Best Breakout Performance award at the 2011 Long Island Film Festival.

ERIN SANDERSON

Linda

Erin is an actress and model as well as an aspiring independent film producer. She studied acting with Shiek Mahmud-Bey at Ripley-Grier Studios and production at Marquis Studios. Erin has modeled for various fashion shows in the New York and New Jersey area. In 2015, Erin made her breakthrough acting debut in Tony Lindsay’s Where Hearts Lie featuring Clifton Powell, Jr. and Malik Yoba. It won best film at the Ocktober Film Festival and made its network television premiere on the Aspire Network in February 2017. Erin also won rave reviews for her riveting performance as a victim of spousal abuse in the short film Punkin Pie. Other film credits include Greater Than a Game and Nobody’s Perfect.

CHRISTINA ROMAN

Claire

Christina is a versatile film and stage actress born and raised in Alexandra, VA. She studied abroad at E15 Acting Conservatory in London and later earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre at Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA where she won an Opdyke Award for her theater department contributions. Christina has appeared in the award winning independent films All That Remains, Attitudes in Motion, and I Hope You Rad This. 

EMILY DE VILLA

Kristine

Emily has studied with The Barrow Group, HB Studio, and the Upright Citizens Brigade in New York. In 2014, she starred and produced the feature film The Wonderpill which will be hitting film festivals this year. In addition to theater performances, Emily has acted in various NYU student films such as Father, The Gay Agenda, and Written Out.​

JOHN FARNWORTH

Tuffley, Sr.

John was born in Queens, NY and attended school in West Babylon, NY. He entered acting after working in the auto industry for over 40 years and has had the privilege of working in film, television, and on stage with many well known and talented actors and Directors. John has appeared in An Act Of War, Gotham, and White Irish Drinkers to name a few. He is currently studying a role for a play to be filmed for television called Murder By Ambition.​

PAUL WALLACE

Brian

Paul hails from Franklin Square, NY and lives in NYC. Along with acting, he freelances in the Grip and Electric department for film, commercials, music videos, television and events. He studied at the William Esper Studio in New York City, acts and writes projects for the production company Cannibal Troll, and performs regularly throughout the greater New York area. In 2014, Mr. Wallace acted in Andre´ Joseph’s short comedy Tempted and was nominated for Best Actor in a Short Film at the 2015 World Music and Independent Film Festival in Washington, D.C.​

RICHARD LAMPONE

Lawrence

Richard is a trained actor who studied the Meisner technique with Terry Knickerbocker at William Esper Studios in New York City. He has starred alongside stars such as Gilbert Gottfried, Eric Roberts, Paul Sorvino and many others. He is also a Producer/Director who is passionate about helping artists reach their dreams. Mr. Lampone will next be seen in the upcoming comedic feature film, Gender Bender.​

ALYSSA SCHROETER

Devitt

Alyssa is a theater graduate of Hunter College and would continue to study acting under Jim Parrack at Playhouse West Brooklyn Lab. She previously worked with J.R. Carter in his short film The Question. She also had lead roles in the independent films El Dorado, 57 Days, and A Series of Times. On television, Alyssa appeared in an episode of Deadline: Crime with Tamron Hall on the ID Channel and most recently played the lead role of “Nancy” in the short fan film, The Book of Elm Street.

NICHOLAS LAMAR

Sean

Nicholas is based in Nortwest Philadelphia, PA. He is part of the Freestyle Dance Academy in Chalfont, PA and appeared as a ghoul in their video re-creation of Michael Jackson’s Thriller. Nicholas appeared in the music video “Brooklyn” by the group Fly by Midnight and will soon be seen this year as a carnival kid in the 2017 remake of Going in Style starring Morgan Freeman.​

REGINALD L. BARNES

Tommy C.

Reginald is an “actor’s actor” dealing in Theatre, Film and Television, as well as a host/emcee and part-time funnyman. A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Reginald is currently featured Off-Broadway in Layon Gray’s award winning play, Black Angels Over Tuskegee, and a recurring featured actor with the hugely popular YouTube parody group, Key of Awesome, where he has taken spoofs of the likes of Kanye West, Rick Ross and Apl.De.Ap. of the Black Eyed Peas to another level. His film credits include Shadow Walker, E&J, and The Skeletptica Effect. In 2014, Reginald won Best Supporting Actor in a Short Film at the World Music & Independent Film Festival in Washington, D.C. for his performance in the drama, Night Stream.​
